What are the steps after I fill out the form?

I will get back to you within 1-2 business days. At that time I will get some basic information from you
(I.e. session type, availability, restrictions, etc) and we set a date and time for our session!

We don't have a set date yet, can we still message you?

Absolutely! I prefer my clients reach out before booking so you know we are the right fit for each other and I can meet your needs as a photographer.

When do I get my photos back?

It takes me 10-14 business days after a session to deliver a complete gallery.
For weddings, galleries are guaranteed at 6-8 weeks.

I usually only take the full time during peak season (May-Aug).

And you can pay extra for an expedited gallery in case you need them by a certain day (i.e. engagement session invitations need to be sent out ASAP).

Do I get all my images from the session?

I guarantee ALL the best images from our time together, but not every single image.

A huge part of photography is the editing, that's why we don't give away our raw, unaltered images.

I have a meticulous post-shoot process: After I upload your images I sort through and pick the ones where everyone looks their best, removing bloopers (unless I think they're fun) where eyes are closed, mouths are half opened, there may be unplanned movement, etc.
I then take the time to curate an "edit" for each part of the session, where I color correct, properly expose, and more. I also include some more creative edits such as a fun detail crop, nostalgic filmy look, or trendy motion blur..

There is SO much to my editing process but I want to ensure you don't just get a gallery full of memories, but also ART!!

Are the travel fees included in your packages?

Currently travel fees are not included in my packages and pricing. Travel fees depend on distance from Olympia area. Some travel fees are waived or reduced if I am already traveling to an area for business.

What's your cancellation/reschedule policy?

If a client cancels less than 48 hours before the shoot, or fails to show on time, the deposit/retainer will be forfeited.
This is because I took the time and resources to book your shoot, and could have booked someone else that would have shown up.
A cancellation/no-show = a loss for me. This is why I require a non-refundable retainer.

If you need to reschedule a session due to illness, emergency, or something outside of your control, the retainer will be applied to a rescheduled session provided that notice is given at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled shoot (or reasonable notice in the case of an emergency).
Reschedules are based on my schedule, but I will do my best to work around yours. There is a $25 rescheduling fee AND rescheduled session must be within 30 days of the original session date (unless otherwise approved by me!)
You have 2 opportunities to reschedule, before it becomes a session cancellation, then regular cancellation policies apply.

The $25 rescheduling fee will be waived for military members & their families ONE time per scheduled session, after using that once, they will be required to pay the fee.
